Settings Dialog
In this dialog the following settings and options can be changed.
- Recording Interval
A time interval from 1 to 10 minutes (default: 2 min).
The final value of all HRV metrics is computed
with the RR-values recorded during this time span.
Note that the displayed metrics and the animation of the
histogram and Poincaré plot during an active recording
are preliminary and based on the values recorded so far.
Only at the end of the recording interval these
metrics will reach their final values.
- Artefact Filter
RR-values that deviate more than a certain
percentage from the sliding average of the
last 5 values are considered to be artefacts.
These outliers are filtered out and not considered
in the computation of the HRV metrics. The default
filter limit is 25 percent.
- Stress Alarm
This slider can be used to set an upper limit for the
stress index. When the limit is exceeded during
a continuous recording an acoustic signal
will be played. You can define the sound of the signal
(default: system notification).
- Continuous Recording
With this checkbox you can switch to continuous
recording mode. In this mode the recording will not
stop at the end of the recording interval but continue
until stopped manually. However, the computation of the
HRV metrics uses a sliding time interval i.e. only the
RR-values recorded within the last elapsed interval
are used.
- Automatic Start
If this box is checked the recording starts
automatically as soon as a heartrate sensor
is connected.
- End-of-Recording Signal
Checkbox for activating an acoustic signal indicating
the end of the recording interval. You can define the
sound of the signal (default: system notification).
- Display Mode
Choose beween light and dark display modes.
